Cooperation between Control Room and Ambulance at a major incident

An impressive training exercise where the players are on top of the incident. The scenario is a school shooting, something logistically challenging to stage often. With "actors" from the HAN, we filmed this scenario to train the coordination between control room and ambulance.

We take dispatchers, ambulance drivers and nurses through an exciting scenario, in which communication plays an important role. The control room receives the calls and sets out follow-up actions. The ambulance focuses on logistics and triage.

We discuss zoning (hot-, warm- and cold-zone), scaling up, cooperation, transport challenges, communication and triage.
