The benefits of an Immersive Room

Pushing bounderies with Immersive Experiences.

The choice between an Immersive Room and VR glasses depends on the application, the budget and the desired experience. Both have their own strengths and can be used to provide unique and engaging immersive experiences.

An Immersive Room - also known as an Immersive Room, Immersive Classroom or Sensory Room - is specifically designed to place visitors in another reality.

Different technologies are used, such as 360-degree projection, sound and interactive elements. By add-ons, it is possible to add elements such as smell, wind, smoke and temperature to the experience. Images are projected by multiple projectors and infrared applications make the walls interactive and respond to touch. The technology and experiences are controlled by hardware and software. At Fixvision we mainly provide the content for the rooms: our Immersive Experiences.

An immersive room is particularly suitable for training centers, all forms of education, museums and entertainment purposes. In an Immersive Room, multiple people can participate in the experience at the same time. Ideal for group activities, team building, educational workshops or social and physical interaction.

Immersive Room

  • Experience
Seeing, hearing and interaction. Optional: smell, temperature, wind and and physical action.

  • Training in small groups
In an Immersive Room, you usually play with 1 to 8 players. Usually under supervision, but it is not always necessary.

  • Group training
Ideal for training situations where communication and collaboration are key.

  • Location-bound
You will need an Immersive Room. A room with a lot of equipment. They can also be made mobile, for example at an event or in a vehicle.

  • Results available everywhere
Results can be stored and emailed to the trainer or teacher. They can also be stored in a shared location so that everyone can access them.

  • Make adjustments yourself
You can easily adjust the interactive elements of our immersive experiences yourself, using the software provided.

  • Physical actions
You can make connections with physical objects and equipment. This allows you to also train physical actions.

Virtual Reality

  • Experience
    Seeing, hearing and interaction.

  • Whole class at the same time
You can train a group of people at the same time by giving everyone their own headset. Such a big group does require some (technical) support.

  • Independently
Experienced players can start and play a VR game independently. Teamwork and consultation with other players is limited.

  • Play anywhere
You can play anywhere as long as you have a few square meters of space. It is possible that you need WiFi. In some cases, the VR headset must be connected to a computer.

  • Results locally available
Results are normally stored on the VR set.

  • Make adjustments yourself
You can adjust the interactive elements of our VR experiences yourself, if the headset is connected to a computer.

  • Physical actions
A VR set is less suitable for training physical actions. You miss the "hand feel", and precise movements are not always easy to perform.
